Workshops
Your Stress Management now offers workshops which can be from 1-3 hours or a full day. They can also be run concurrently to allow more participants to attend. The workshops give the background of how stress is part of everyday life and to be able to identify when it is affecting or starting to affect an individual's health. Ideally 6-8 participants at each workshop give the participants the opportunity for discussion.
20% REDUCTION FOR STRESS MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS
Current offer of a a 20% reduction for Stress Management Workshops, which can be tailored to meet your needs: ideally for 6-8 people to enable discussion. The workshop covers:
- Identify causes of stress
- The effects of stress
- Self-Assessment by participants will pinpoint their biggest stressors
- Stress managements tools and techniques to improve well-being and improve performance
- Create achievable goals and begin implementing goals created during workshop
At least one in five employees are either very or extremely stressed at work. The Heath and Safety Executive states:-
- Work-related stress accounts for over a third of all new incidences of ill health.
- Each case of work-related stress, depression or anxiety related ill health lead to an average of 30.2 working days lost.
- A Total of 13.8 millions working day were list to working-related stress, depression and anxiety in 2006/07.
- In 2007/08 an estimated 442,000 individuals in Britain, who worked in the last year, believed that they were experiencing work-related stress at a level that was making theme ill, according to the Labour Force Statistics.
- To comply with the law, employers have duties: Under the Management of Heath and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 to asses the rist of stress-related ill health arising from work activities.
It is estimated that workplace stress costs UK industry £9.6bn per year.
